A Comic Booked Themed Wedding

Tacia and Jarrod | November 2017

On November 11, 2017 at Villa de l’Amour, Tacia and Jarrod became one. The two wed in front of a beautiful, rounded archway decorated with hanging white-bulb lights. Tacia wore a gorgeous white all-over lace, floor-length lace gown with sleeves, an illusion neckline, and keyhole back. Her bridesmaids wore red gowns with lace bodices. Jarrod dressed in a grey tux accompanied by a red tie. His groomsmen also wore grey suits, but with white ties.

Guests tables were dressed in grey linens with red chargers, and decorated with comic strip runners, a lantern, and red flower petals. Tacia and Jarrod’s sweetheart table was dressed opposite of guests tables, with a red linen and silver chargers, to create a beautiful focus to the newlyweds. Behind their sweetheart table hung a unique painting with their names in comic strip animation along with the symbols of their favorite superheros/comics (I didn’t know which word to use).

The couple’s day revolved around the style and theme of their favorite comics. Their card box incorporated a comic and Tacia’s soles on her shoes were decorated with a comic. Florals were also made out of comics to add to the personal touches of Tacia and Jarrod’s special day. Allen Nop Photography perfectly captured this couple’s wedding and their uniqueness. Guests danced all night to music provided by Anything Music’s DJ. Family and friends enjoyed a meal prepared by Culinary Visions and Lyla Jones Bakery baked a single-tier cake, influenced by the couple’s love for comics, and Krispy Kreme provided the delicious donuts. Tacia and Jarrod’s cake, like their sweetheart table painting backdrop, also had the symbols of their favorite superheros.

Tacia and Jarrod ended the night with a gorgeous sparkler exit. Social Conceptions is happy so that this sweet couple chose us to be apart of their very special, unique, and beautiful wedding day!
