Cathleen and Kyle’s beautiful September wedding was one for the memory books. The two put so many unique touches into their wedding, ranging from homemade apparel to fun reception games. The happy couple wed and hosted their reception at the O.Henry Hotel in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Cathleen walked down the aisle to music from harpist Abigail Van Patter, adorned in a stunning wedding gown she made by hand! The gorgeous white dress had detailed lace sleeves and even included Cathleen’s “something blue” by featuring a sparkly blue underlay on the front of the dress. Her look was complete with a beautiful veil and flower crown. The two were wed by Rev. J.J. Jacobson.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom ceremoniously kicked off the games by throwing the first corn hole toss on the official “Team Bride” and “Team Groom” boards. The reception was filled with adorable directional signage with messages such as, “Good food and bad dance moves” this way.

Tables inside the venue were decorated using stunning white floral centerpieces accented with greenery from florist Brenda McLamb. The newlyweds and their guests celebrated the evening with a three-tier white, black, and gold cake from Easy Peasy bakery. Afterward family and friends dressed in bright hats, glow sticks, and festive sunglasses to take fun photobooth pictures and dance the night away to beats by A&A DJ.
