On Friday-May 24th, at the Greensboro Downtown Marriott, Kruti and Shrunjay’s Wedding Celebration kicked off with the Mehndi ceremony. A Mehendi ceremony is an integral part of the wedding ceremony. Furthermore, Mehndi is one of the sixteen adornments of the bride and her “beauty” is incomplete without it. A Mehndi ceremony usually takes place just before marriage. During Mehndi, the bride’s body is decorated with body art. Kruti and Shrunjay’s Mehndi celebration was beautifully decorated by Katen Shah with vibrant, pink tablecloths and black lanterns for centerpieces. The stage was set with an intricate sofa, white backdrop, and gold mirror frames with green, pink, and black drapery. For the Mehndi celebration, Kruti wore a floor-length gown that was beautifully designed with an elegant, repeating motif. Along with her dress, she wore a dainty, simple but gorgeous headpiece. Shrunjay wore a dashing, deep red dress for the Mehndi ceremony.
Saturday, May 25th, the following day, the Vidhi took place at the same venue. For Vidhi, Kruti wore Lehengas; a full, yellow skirt with floral design and a white mid-sleeve blouse with beading detail. Shrunjay wore a solid white Dhoti Kurta. For the wedding, the couple changed. Kruti wore a stunning white, champagne, and blush colored gown while Shrunjay wore a white dhoti kurta that was decorated with a repeating, floral motif and dapper, blush shoes to match. Family and friends witnessed this couple’s love in a space decorated with a white, draped backdrop surrounded by gorgeous florals. Soham filmed the love exchanged and celebration between the newlyweds, their family, and friends. The bride’s uncles provided food for their celebration of love and Roop G kept all guests entertained throughout the night.
