Crystal and Maurice’s black and gold themed wedding was an elegant affair held on December 30th. The couple exchanged vows at Kress Terrace in Greensboro, North Carolina, and held their reception at the same venue. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Alex Cheeck and was attended by several of the couple’s family members.
Crystal’s bridesmaids wore matching deep purple gowns, the accent color for the evening. Maurice’s groomsmen dressed in all black, keeping with the theme of the evening.
The reception venue was adorned in black, gold, and purple, with tables decorated in gold table cloths, purple table runners, and black napkins. Each table featured beautiful candle holder centerpieces built by the bride herself. The happy couple honored relatives who had passed by setting aside a table for them with their photos and a sweet sign reading, “We know you would be here today if heaven weren’t so far away.”
Guests dined on a delicious meal by Visions Catering. Maurice and Crystal held a “Blending of the Sands” ceremony, mixing their respective black and purple sands together into a vase, representing the blending of two families.
The new Mr. and Mrs. cut into a three-layer white and gold cake baked by Sweet Megs. After eating some of the delicious wedding cake, guests hit the dance floor to the music of 1st Choice DJ Services.
The evening was a night to remember, and ALS Photography and Giovanni Films were there to capture photos and video of the evening.
"One word to describe Ashley, AMAZING!!! Maurice and I can't thank you enough for coordinating our event. Hiring you as our day of coordinator was an excellent choice. We love how detailed and thorough you were! I would definitely recommend her without any hesitation!!" - Crystal (The Bride)
